On the way out of town towards the Orphanage the group comes across the Cedar Grove Sanitarium, they hear the front gate closing and see a figure making their way up towards the old building that houses those who are called mad.
Carl followed after Jack, white-knuckled on the hilt of his wrench. He was staying definitly behind Jack, however, out of the way of his death-spewing machine gun.
Jack glances over at the sanitarium, watching the figure suspiciously as they go past, signaling the others to keep quiet. If the gates aren't locked there, could be some psychopathic engineer got out and made that bird thing. He'll have to keep that in mind.
Tobias walked forward, his eyes wide as he stared into the fog, moving towards the figure, his eyes glazed over as if in a daze. "And it comes to this. . . it's too late now, I wonder if any of us will ever be free again. . . after this."
The gate to the Aslyuim is not only open but it swings a little, it's open and it was left open, whoever is up there either came from the Aslyuim or from outside.
