Background
Terri Swaane was a child at Sheppard's Orphanage and was adopted one year to the day before the horrible tragedy struck. A bi-racial child, she was placed with Caucasian parents and as such there was always a slight bit of dischord when it came to cultural norms inside the home, versus those outside the home. However, she loved her parents dearly, and took to the expectations they had of her quite well - dance, drama, and music classes were all faithfully attended clear up until high school, when she abandoned everything except the dance.
In college she took up modeling alongside a communications degree, and then promptly got a job at a small dance studio in Atlanta, which utilized neither her bachelor's degree, nor the dieting restrictions of the modeling. It did, however, garner a certain amount of popularity with the men about town, and she's been in and out of romance ever since.
Now, at the age of 36, she has been married four times to three different men (the last marriage she will say was a mistake worth making twice). She works, or rather worked as a dance instructor at a belly dance studio up until this most recent divorce, and is currently working out the arrangements to open her own studio with this latest alimony arrangement. Somewhat selfish, and more than a bit of a flirt, Teresa, or Terri as she likes to be called, almost always has a male friend in attendance, even if she's not currently attached. She's also been known to discreetly entertain the occasional female friend, but finds that they are generally more drama than they are worth.
Terri also has a bit of a drinking problem that started last year when she discovered that her then-husband had picked up a liking for younger women during their time apart (while she was married to husband number 3, actually). It's just a little thing - a bloody mary with breakfast, a daquiri at dinner... the mid afternoon margarita. Not really a problem, you understand. Just something to be social and pass the time.
She is still quite atheletic, petite, but very pretty. She doesn't remember much about her time at the orphanage - preferring to forget that she was ever an orphan in the first place, now that she has a measure of popularity to fall back on in the "real" world.
