The Blue Creek Apartments stand right next to the Woodside Apartments this apartment building has very recently become available.   It's also fully furnished, however it does not look like it was professionally done.

"The place belonged to a guy who worked for the news, his personal stuff is in storage."  the super intendent says, "Did the owner tell you about that?"

"He might have mentioned it in passing. Don't worry, honey - I'm not one to go looking through another's personal effects," Terri gave the superintendent a sweet smile over one shoulder as she paused in her pacing about the room itself.

"I'll probably get a few more things in, actually. Nothing major - just a desk and my bed, most likely." She fluffed a ringlet of coppery bronze hair, and flicked her gaze around the room again. And to think she'd vowed never to come back to this place. Funny how a few wrong turns could put a girl right back at square one.

"Just thought it might be creepy, no one has seen him in awhile. " The Super will wave a hand, "I'll let you get settled let me know if you have any issues." Leaving Terri to looking around the apartment.

There is actually a desk in the apartment with oddly enough a type writer sitting on it. The desk seems cleared of clutter and paper.

There is a couch that looks a little on the old side and smells mildly of cigarettes there is a coffee table with an ashtray sitting on it.

"Well, as long as he doesn't come sneaking in at the dead of night, I don't see what's so creepy about it. Writers are a tempremental sort, aren't they? Maybe he just needed a change." She wrinkles her nose a bit at the faint cigarette smell, but that's nothing a few open windows and the liberal application of fabric cleaner won't cure. "Thanks, sweetie - I'll let you know if I need anything else." Terri shut the door behind the superintendent and surveyed her new domain once more.

She won't throw away another person's possessions, but she does make sure that ashtray gets washed in the dishwasher. And while she was at it, Terri opened the windows, making note of anything that would have to be repaired or replaced or that could just be tucked into storage along with the rest of the writer's belongings.

It looks like most personal effects have been removed from the apartment, there isn't a lot of overly personal things, however a mug was missed in the kitchen with "Daddy's Cowfy" painted by what appears to be a child's hand.

The paint is bright red in the dark of the back of the cupboard however it looks slightly sinister.

Let me know that Terri is taking a look at.

"Daddy, indeed," Terri shook her head slightly - at least she'd never burdened herself or her relationships with children of her own. That would have made a difficult situation absolutely impossible. She stood on tiptoe to peer at the mug, but didn't reach out to touch it at first.

Silly girl, it's just a mug. Wash it with the ashtray - probably full of dust. Then they can both go into storage.

She reached for the mug, albeit gingerly. Never felt quite right, touching a stranger's things.

The mug is normal, up until going through one of the bottom draws everything seems like it was picked up second hand no full sets, 4 of everything, plates glasses bowls.

There's a spice rack that's never been used and a selection of pots and pans that have never been touched.

In the bottom drawer is a blue children's radio. Terri knows this toy. They where given to the kids at the Orphanage for Christmas one yes. Her's was a bright happy yellow. this one is blue and in black magic marker the name Morris is written on the side.

"What an odd place to put a toy," Terri looked at the radio with a mixture of confusion and mild amusement. Silly thing to remember, after all these years. She puts the radio on the desk with the typewriter, intending to move both a bit later on. At least with the pots and pans new, she wouldn't have to buy any - she was leery of shipping anything from her old house, lest her current ex find out where she'd gone off to.

Just a couple of months to pull things together. The final paperwork on the studio wouldn't go through for at least that long, and she'd rather not have to deal with the emotional mess waiting back home before there was a suitable distraction.

Should have opted for a beach house, Terri. Probably a lot more interesting distractions than old toys.

She tried, and failed to remember if Morris had been cute at all.

Morris had been 7 when Teresa had last seen him. He had been well a 7 year old boy. He hadn't been an overly cruel 7 year old boy and he didn't have any major flaws one would be certain would carry into adult hood.

However he does seem to have an issue with closing his drawers all the way one of the drawers of his desk are slightly open.

Not one of the pig-tail pulling little boys then. Terri peered at the slightly opened drawer on the desk. Ordinarily she would have just closed it and left it at that, but there was the radio, and presumably it and the desk belonged to Morris...

So therefore, there was no reason not to put the little radio into the drawer and then shut it. Safekeeping wasn't trespassing after all.

There is the sound of a soft thud as something lands in what must be the bottom draw. It seems something was stuck behind the one drawer.

"...whoops." Terri shut the original drawer, and opened the last, intending to fish out whatever fell and put it back in the top drawer, where it belonged.

the object is a small notes book it appears to be full of news paper clippings.

Sheppard Orphanage Murdered is written on the black cover in white. Then "Other weird events around the murders."

"Something seems to be wrong, what happened why?"

Terri glanced over her shoulder as if she expected to be scolded for snooping through someone else's things, but then gave in to curiousity and flipped through the newspaper clippings.

I wonder what he thought was wrong or strange?

It wasn't as if tragic violence didn't happen, and happen often, after all.

"What were you looking for, Morris?"

Walter walks up to the door, it had taken him a while to find the address.. The Filthy assistant hadnt been here to go through the phone book meaning he ended up doing it himself. He stopped at the door and looked around getting a wicked little grin before knocking, "This is the Police. we know you are in there." It hardly sounded like the police, and the tone of amusement was a big strong for them as well though.. He leaned against his cane infront of The eye hole waiting.

Terri 'eeped' out of a guilty conscience more than anything and the notebook was quickly dropped into the top drawer and closed with an artful bump of her hip.

"Well, honey if you know I'm in here, I guess I better give up." She sauntered over to peer out of the peep hole. "Don't suppose you have a badge I could see, hmm?"

If it was the police, Terri was fairly certain they couldn't possibly want anything with her. If it was one of her former husbands' "friends" on the other hand... well, no. They wouldn't know she was here, either.

Walter blinked at the voice ****ing an eyebrow, "Ok.. You dont sound like Morris.. So your either the ex-wife, in which case im sorry for the bad joke.. Or Your the girlfriend, again, sorry for the bad joke.. Or your a thief digging around in his apartment and i should call the cops.."

He doesn't really sound to sorry, and he doesn't look like a cop. Though he does look like he might have been in the news or something lately.. (fame 2?) "Morris called me about an interview over lunch, and i havent heard back from him so thought i'd come and check whats going on.

"Actually," Terri replied as she opened the door and looked out at Walter, "I'm the new tenant. No one's seen Morris in awhile, from what the owner told me." She leaned against the doorframe and stared up at Morris thoughtfully.

"You look familiar."

Walter looked her over as she opened the door for a moment, "Are you sure..? I got a letter from him about the interview and all.." He grins a little at the familiar comment, reaching into his jacket pulling a book from the pocket offering it to her, the name over the title Walter Karin.

If she knew he was a rather big horror/murder story writer, Some of his stories even had forewords from Steven King and other big names. The stories might not sit to well with other people from the orphanage, parts match up the nightmares and dreams a bit to well. The big question is would she remember the little boy from the orphanage of the same name..

"Well, you're welcome to come in and see for yourself. But I promise you honey, it's just me." She took the book and turned it over in her hands, frowning faintly at first, until recognition made her eyes go a bit round with surprise.

"Walter Karin? You probably don't remember me at all, do you?" But she held out a well-manicured hand just the same. "It's Teresa Swaane. Terri." She'd gone back to her maiden name twice before deciding it just wasn't worth the paperwork.

By contrast, she's probably not all that famous, outside of those in belly dancing circles. She also wasn't particularly upset in putting two-and-two together. If someone could make a profit out of this miserable little place, more power to them, in Terri's mind.

Walter nodded and stepped inside looking around.. "Sorry for the trouble.. But i was made promises of free lunch and an interview on my books, both of which are good things.." He blinks looking at her a moment staring.. "Pig tails.. Used to try and convince you there was some sort of monster under your bed..?" He looked her over again, "Wow. What brings you here..?"

Walter wasn't one of the mean kids growing up, but he was in his own rights a little bastard. He spent a good bit of time describing monsters and such that he said were coming to get people, for the most part just teasing, for people he didn't like he did it in enough details to give them nightmares. Teresa was the former.

"Well, I can let you take me to lunch if it will make you feel better," she watched Walter look around, and shut the door behind him with a wry smile. "Yes, and yes - thankfully I've grown out of both pig tails and monsters these days."

As for the question about why she was back in Silent Hill after so many years... Terri half-shrugged. "Would you believe I'm taking a vacation?"

Walter grinned, "Sure.. Lunch sounds good. Know a decent place here?" He chuckles, "While you've grown out, i've grown up on monsters. No more scaring little kids pointlessly.. Now its for fun and i get paid for it." He continues looking around, pausing at the answer to the question of being here.. "So.. Do you always buy up an apartment for a vacation?"

The Notebook for a side note has information about a fire, mission persons, and a caff born with 2 heads, it Terri doesn't get a good look but it looks like the time around the murders wasn't a happy one in silent hill.

"Sadly, not a clue. But I'm sure we can find something." She gave Walter a mischievous grin at his question about her apartment-buying tendencies. "No, not always. But if I hadn't, we wouldn't be going out for lunch, would we?"

She hadn't brought a lot with her to Silent Hill - everything was still back at the old house, where presumably she'd be again in a few months, once all the legal nonsense was out of the way and her studio was properly financed. But there were a few programme flyers tucked on an end table - she'd done a spirited rendition of Salome before leaving town.

Terri did enjoy making a stylish exit.

Walter nods taking another look around, "How long has it been since someone has seen him here..? He dropped off a letter at my hotel not to long ago.." he shrugged and headed back to the door, "Anyways.. Whats been going on in your life?" He leaned on his cane as he opened the door for her then slipped out himself.

"That's... odd. How long have you been in town?" Terri paused at the door and glanced back at the desk. "They moved Morris' things to storage, except the desk there, and a few odds and ends I've found around. I'm sure they wouldn't have done that on a whim - he's not been around for weeks, I'd assume."

"Lunch at the Happy Burger and dinner with a famous author? Mm, and to think I'd been wondering what I was going to do with myself all evening." Terri gave Walter a sweet smile.

To her credit, she didn't giggle at the one side of the conversation between Walter and his assistant, although she was hard-pressed not to at least smile in amusement.

"I think you need a more helpful assistant, sweetie. How about we stop by whatever news bureau Morris worked for on our way to lunch? They might know something..." She paused. "... well, and I did see something when I was putting away his old radio, but it was probably just old notes..."

Better to confess to snooping now, rather than later, all told.

Walter snaps his phone shut with a disgruntled click, "Not much luck on that.. Shes publishers Niece." he nods, "Probably be a good place to check... Wait.. Radio..? Like the ones we had at the orphanage..?" he fishes about his coat feeling about, pausing pulling out his old radio..

Terri blinked at the radio, a flicker of surprise and then wariness crossing her features briefly. "Yes... just like the ones from back then. I put it in the drawer there and some notes that were crammed in the back slipped out and fell into the wrong drawer, so I put them away again."

A pause, before she asked: "Walter, why do you have a radio from back then?" She could see Morris having it, if he'd never left Silent Hill - just a weird little memento of the past that got moved in along with everything else. But for Walter to have his on a trip to visit? That struck her as very odd.

Walter shrugs fiddling with the radio flicking it on, "When i got in my room it was there on the bed in a package next to the letter from Morris. I lost it before i left the orphanage. Imagine my surprise.. I figure Morris either found it or was the one who swiped it and decided to finally give it back or something.. Why.. Has yours shown up..?" He quirks an eyebrow moving to the desk looking it over.

"No, it hasn't. I suppose Morris has an interesting sense of nostalgia, if he saved yours for you. Or perhaps just an interesting sense of humor. The notes are in the top drawer there, if you're going to look. If he's really missing, I suppose he can't protest too much."

Terri fussed at her hair for a moment - more for something to do while waiting for Walter to make up his mind, than any real need to primp.

Walter nods getting out the notebook reading through it briefly before stashing it in his pocket with the radio. "Couldn't hurt.. You know, except for the Theft charges." He grins and makes his way back over, "So then shall we go?"

**First Entry*
"I have decided to investigate even occurring around the murder at Sheppard's Orphanage, I really cannot see someone who can kill that many children in one night not doing something similiar before that night or after. This must have been the act of a deranged individual not just some apparition that vanished into the night without being able to be found."

"I won't tell if you won't." Terri gave Walter a bit of a smile as she grabbed her keys from the table near the door.

"Yes, let's." She takes Walter's arm as if that's the expected thing, and will lock up after them both.
