Behind the picture is the strangest Wall Safe ever, it had a handle in the little and three indentations they seem to be about the size and shape of the Medallion, the one that Frank has is two circles with the word Steadfast in the enter.
Engraved on the safe is "1 + (-1) = 0, 0 = Open)
the top hole says Unreliable to the right the hole says Traitorous and the hole on the left is marked Unchivalrous.

"Must need the other medals." Thoughtfully, frank rubbed his chin. now... did he really want to try to herd the bugs in here... and go back to get coat, boots, etc... ?
Okay. He sighs and makes irritable grumbles and checks his extinguisher. If there's enough pressure he'll go on and try bugherding - open door and lure them in then slide along the walls to get out again. any get too close he'll stomp or kick them away.
If there *isn't* enough pressure - then he'll just use it as a rolling pin to mash bugs. ::mashmashmash:: and kick and stomp as needed.
With some tackle thinking Frank can indeed evade the bugs but how long? how long until he must face them again. He does notice a second door at the back when the Bugs are around the radio makes noise like static and when they're gone it's quiet.
The radio might be useful when somethign is sneaking up behind him.
he's going to have to get himself some aerosol cans and a lighter. and keep a fire extinguisher near.
Assuming he was able to shut the bugs in (killing them as needed) he will shrug into one of the coats, change to some of those boots if he can find a pair in his size, and add gloves. Help keep him from ruining his hands using that axe all day - he's got the stamina, but working out doesn't necessarily build callouses.
Flashlight goes clipped to the coat, improvised sling for the axe, and a fireman's hat. Radio in an inside pocket.
Helmet on. faceplate on. he goes to the other door and checks it out.
the door at the back is in fact open and there are stairs heading upwards. the corridor is slightly on the small side but he doesn't hear any static from the radio.
Frank come up into the area and the radio alerts him with a gentle sound that something is there, In the Loungue area for the fire fighters he sees another one of the Mock gang members who hasn't seen Frank as of yet. the walls of the room have coutches off of them and there are two other doors along with a table in the middle.
Funny. for the bugs, he has compassion. Gangmembers, none at all. He gets his axe and looks to see what weapon the fauxganger has before he approaches.
Frank's not going to try for a full on block - thats a good way to get your hands numb (personal experiance speaking, eheh.) He'll let it slide up the axe handle though and then give it a twist to get it off - and hit for that goddamned tattoo, that hated mark.
The creature trembles and remains still thick dark blood oozing onto the floor staining it a deep almost black colour as the beast that seems to claw itself from nightmares finally remains still.
There is another shelf of Trophies one of trophies is another metal and this one is marked as Honor. There is something that seems to be in a brown bottle that has a label on it that reads Health Drink.
There is are some magazine along with a Map of Silent Hill, not all of the buildings are actually labeled.
There is in fact a door at the back of the lounge that appears to go outside and a door to a Locker area. unless he looks at the Magazines there's nothing else of interest in this room.
well, he'd look at em but unless they're remarkable, he's not impressed. He's more interested in the locker area. He's afraid if he goes out he won't be able to get back in. and there's bound to be another trophy case in the locker room.
There is a local news magazine that mentions Walter Karin well known Horror Aurthur and former local resident will be visiting Silent Hill. If Frank reads further it mentions that Walter use to be a child at the Sheppard Orphanage as well.
in a paid advertisement that there is a $1000 dollar reward by the Strub family for the location of Morris Strub dead or alive they just want to know what happened to their son.
1000 dollars to find out the location of possibly your dead son's body? Maybe it is cheap but it all depends on what you've already put money into.
Possible cost of private detectives and waiting for other information, could Morris have been gone long enough to warrant the odd personal add? Are rewards like this often offered by families?
It seems paltry to a man who killed just over 20 people to avenge one wife, yes. Most families who actually offer rewards that he's heard of seem to offer ...well, a lot more. but this is silent hill. perhaps 1000 bucks is a lot more money locally.
He tears out the article and takes it with him, folded in a pocket. and on he goes to the locker room if there is nothing else.
There are two rows of lockers one on each side of the narrow little room, at the other end appear to be showers, there is a thumping noise coming from one of the lockers closer to the showers.
The Radio remains quiet, when Frank opens the door the creature leaps out at him and meows as a gray cat jumps into his arms if he catches it and falls down his coat if he doesn't. It has a collar.
He nearly drops his axe to catch it, and then nearly puts his own eye out because he *won't* drop the axe. "Whoa, whoa. Poor kitty - are you lost? who locked you in there, honey?" He (with difficulty) gets the axe in its hanger and pets the cat, trying to comfort it and calm it.
Check collar for identification
Check cat for injuries.
Look in the locker and make sure there's nothing else in there either of interest or hostile or ... whatever.
The cat appears fine he meows and will put a paw up towards him. lovingly stitched on the collar is the word Ghost and on the tag is "I live at 9 Ellroy St."
There doesn't seem to be anything interesting in the locker the cat was in.
"Are you a shoulderbaby cat or a holdmebaby cat? Or a walk the dog cat?" He smiled a little and let the cat touch him, petting it. "Guess i know where your home is. Poor kitty, who put you in there?" He talks - the way people talk to kitties, a little like a moron.
He'll let the cat pick a place - it can get into one of the inner lining pockets, it can stand on his shoulders, he can hold it in one arm or it can walk - but he will continue to explore a little after he gets the cat settled. "We'll take you home when i figure out how to get out of here, 'kay, Ghost?"
"Frank?!" Morris calls from the from the other room and you hear foot steps walking in your direction, He will make a sound "Eh-I-h-il." before goining you in the locker room seeming exhausted.
"I.. I lost him.." Morris says in a forlorn manner.
"Him? You mean her? I thought you were after your daughter." Frank tried to puzzle that out. "And what's "Eh-I-h-il." mean?" Frank peered around for Ghost
"I thought I heard my son Tommy. He's pretty young so I can understand why he might sound like a little like a girl." Morris will say and then he holds up his shoe which is covered in the oozing black blood.
"I stepped in your work." Morris sounds unhappy about that. "So anything interesting?"
"Better watch your step around here, Morris." amused, Frank shows him his latest aquisitions - including the magazine article. "What do you make of this? and where did the cat go? Ghost, kittykittykitty..."
"I'm missing?" Morris says and looks at the article, "For a week and a half and dad's offering money... I wonder what he thinks happened to me." He will offer the article back and blink. "You saw a cat named Ghost?" He will raise an eyebrow, "Gray?"
"That was Sheriff Moody's cat, but Ghost was hit by a car." Morris says looking a little confused, "I guess someone else got a gray cat with the name Ghost." Morris says as if trying to force the world to make sense in his head again.
"Okay. Morris. I think the reason you can hear your kid but can't find him... I think we're dead. Or have crossed over somehow. Dead cat, weird stuff, weird monsters... i was in an accident before i came here. I don't think i made it." He tips his head. "Anything weird happen to you before you got here?"
"The coffee I drank to try and stay awake tasted like it had been made in the morning and reheated several times... other then that no..." Morris says looking pale. "I can't be dead I mean... I just.. No one will look out for my kids."
"... maybe you're not." Thoughtfully. "Maybe ... just i am. If i can get you back to the world of the living, Morris - i will. The spirit world is no place to be now that the wasichu are dominant over it."
"Wasy Chew?" Morris asks looking at Frank in a slightly concerned manner, "So what are we doing next exactly?" He says shaking his head but the idea of him being dead. He just can't get it out of his mind right away.
