Walter opens the door to the HB and looks about stepping inside holding it open for Teresa, "Im telling you.. You cant tell from his stories, but Steven King really is a normal kinda guy. Just.. Really really weird." He grins.

I sipped my Happy Coffe` and read over my book.  I here the door open and out of reflex I look.  I smirk seeing the face of another infamous celebrity, Walter Karin. he and I both were at the orphanage so long ago.  I read somewhere that having a similar past causes people to lead similar lives.  However, his troupe of fans and my own following (www.SawyerGlass.com) wouldn't tango well, I can just feel it.

Then my eyes spot the beauty next to him.  At first I don't recognize her but then it hits me. "Terri" I whisper.  It was my time now.  I could feel it from the sole of my feet to the cleft of my chiny chin chin.

I rise out of my chair, put my book in my jacket pocket, and approach the pair.  I flash my pearl white teeth and feel the need to speak up in their conversation, "Stephan's good and all, but he's a bit of a perfectionist when it comes how he wants his films to look." Before anyone can say anything, My suave juices flowed and I introduced my self, "Sawyer Glass, Actor slash stuntman extrordinare"

"Oh I'm sure he's nice enough, Walter, but there's only so much one can do about creepy, and..." Terri trailed off as Sawyer approached them, then blinked at the introduction. The name was familiar, which only added to the pile of oddities for the day - how many more people from her childhood were going to show up?

"Hello, Sawyer." She gave the stuntman a polite smile, and waited for Walter to do introductions - isn't that what men are supposed to do?

Walter blinks and half stares/glowers at this new strange man intruding jumping in like this.. "Nice to meet you Soyer. This is Teresa, and I'm Walter." He nods briefly and starts to continue on..

I narrowed my eyes and grinned. she remebered, he didn't.  "Walt, I guess you didn't here me correctly.  I'm SAWyer Glass.  We grew up in the orphanage together." I paused, trying to think up what might help jog his memory, "wait, this might help." I grabbed the back of my head and force my skull into the metal part of the door full force.

I pull back, a small line of blood begins to form from my hairline.  I whipe it with my hand, "Y'know, in retrospect, I could've just said picture me with a cast on."  I grab a napkin from the dispenser and put it on my cut to stop the bleeding.  "Terri, it's been a long time. how have you been? Certainly matured quiet well it seems."

Terri blinked. Blinked again. She had too much poise to stare with mouth agape or anything similarly rude, so she simply looked more than a little mystified at Sawyer's 'demonstration'.

"Ah... yes. Casts." She glanced up at Walter to see how he was taking all this, and then back to Sawyer at the maturity comment. "Well, we all have to... grow up sometime."

Walter stares, evidently unphased by the show, "Oh right. Sawner. The one always jumping off of stuff and hurting himself doing stupid things.. Hows that working out for you...?" He remembered Sawyer well enough but generally the only reason actors/stuntmen came to him was to try and convince him to let the some two bit director turn one of his books into a movie.. Something he never took kindly to.

I shrug, "I suppose we do, but I've found that my childhood dream payed off." The cheerful look on my face breaks a little as I think about my own recent dreams, but I snap back into a happy mask.  "The Glass' wanted me to go into law. do something safe they said, but... well, being locked in a suit can make a man loose his mind."

"it's SawYer, like the Mark Twain Character."  This guy knows which buttons to push. but for cripes sakes, it's only been 30 years. I mean, I still remeber Willson's name.  "And actings going great. I actually had a screenplay idea I wanted to toss at you.  okay, immagine there's this cabin and a guy and his girl go there, but there's this evil book y'see and it posseses everything it can get it's clutches on.."

"I'm glad things are going so well for you," Terri replied in a light, fairly neutral tone. "People do say that happiness is the greatest success."

She stood there beside Walter and listened to the turn in conversation thoughtfully. She'd never seen anyone make a business proposal quite the way Sawyer was attempting, but at least now his sudden interruption made sense.

Walter sighs.. Here it was. the inevitable.. He has had plenty of people pitch things just like this. "And..? Wheres the point, the plot, the drive. Something that gives it an actual point. Something beyond "Oh my god, its going to kill us all. lets run away like mindless idiots until we are all dead." He walks up to the counter giving a brief nod to the person taking orders, "Double happy, Pickles and ketchup only, Large fries, Chocolate shake.." He moves aside for Teresa to order.

I smiled, "and what about you, Terri? How's life been for you."  It had been a while since I'd spoken with anyone from Silent Hill.  I wonder if the others were in the same boat.

"Point?  The point's easy.  The characters have to face the spirits the book raises.  They can't run.  They can't hide.  Now if you are meaning what's the point of writing it? because we owe it to them." I motion with my head to the other bystandards of the fast food place.  "I don't know why you do what you do, Walt, but I realize that we're entertainers.  Sure our audience might be different, but I'm sure you can agree that without people like us, nothing would distract them from the real horrors of everyday life."  That and I know your stuck in a rut and are too proud to ask for a hand out I thought cynically.

Terri took a moment to order - she wasn't one of those lettuce-nibbling women, but she was hardly the type to order half the menu, either. Regular hamburger, fries, a cola, and she was content.

"Life's been... interesting," Another of those airy, polite smiles. "I'm taking a vacation right now, actually." She glanced between the two men with a thoughtful expression. "Of course, I can always move along and let you two gentlemen talk business."

It wasn't her business to overhear, after all.

Walter digs out his wallet paying for his and Teresa's food before reaching into his jacket pulling out another book, Teresa had the other he had autographed, and this was the last one he had on them. Oh well.. Book store should have plenty, and it was amazing how well they would cooperate when you offer to autograph a whole set for them.. "No need to go Terri" he gives her a small smile.

He turned looking at Sawyer, "This. Is what i do." The book is one of his earlier ones, only an inch and a half thick. The story revolving around a man being chased through some old mist filled town, alone save the monsters after him and a few other "survivors" as he tries to find out whats going on.. It was one of his more controversial ones as several pages after the real ending there was a false one involving aliens and a dog setting it all up, placed there to foil people who read the end of the story in book stores. That and the in detail descriptions of disembowelment and violence.

He offers the book to Sawyer, "You dont want me to write you a story, you want me to "co-sign" your idea so you can run it back to some studio saying "Look what i got, praise me plenty" for finally getting me to sign off on something they can slap my name on and whore out without giving me any control of what is being made. Especially when they want to cut This," he motions to the book again, "Down to an hour and a half by cutting out ever part of plot and detail."

"What a coincidence, I'm vacationing too." I said, with a suprised look.  Too many coincidences.Could it all be connected, meeting them, the dreams, Walter showing up here, of all places, for a book signing.

I shook my head, "It's not like that, Walt.  As far as I have into this movie is what you already know.  I mean, c'mon man, people have been asking for you to put something in the movies for a long time.  I'll see to it you call the shots.  If you want your name in a tiny square at the bottom of the poster, you'll get your name in a tiny square at the bottom of the poster.  If you wanna go under a pen name, it's done."  I make an honest attempt at persuading him, "The one thing I regret in my life is that us orphans never stuck together after getting adopted out."

"Mr. Strub. Do you want your usual?" The man at the front says looking at the door talking to someone who has just entered.

The Man at the door is not Morris Strub.

Thomas-Strub.jpg

He looks noticeably older maybe in his late 50s early 60s, He walks over to the front counter.  He has on a nice suit despite the time of year completely with a tie he looks at the group at the front, "I guess tourist season is hitting isn't it."  He comments then nods to the man at the counter.

"Well, it's a small world I suppose," she replied to Sawyer politely as she waited for the movie conversation to reach its conclusion - it didn't seem that Walter was one who would be easily persuaded. Intriguing, a man with integrity for his vision.

Her gaze flicked to the man at the door, and Terri blinked in surprise. Certainly not Morris. A relative, perhaps? But that would be a coincidence beyond belief.

Walter picks up his and Teresa's tray tucking his cane under his arm and makes his way towards a table, "The reason a movie hasnt happened is because they CANT give me what i want.. What i want is omething thats going to be Like my book. Sure i like to kick in a little Juventile humor, but I dont dumb it down, i dont kiddie it up for a PG or PG-13 title, I dont just shove a description of the monster down peoples throats trying for shock horror. Besides.. Making one of my stories straight to movie would end up with something close to three to four hours If we do it how i want.. And the only way its going to happen is if its how i want.."

He sets down the tray and pulls out a chair for Teresa, or tries, jerking at it several times before seeing they are attached to the table and simply swivel.. He stares a good moment before shrugging and turning it so she can sit, pausing to look up at the door.. "Thats not Morris.."

I nodd in a response to Terri. Sure it's a small world only about 510,072,000 km² in total, but that's still a large margin.  Something was a miss, I could smell it. and this new Mr. Strub didn't disway me at all.  If I had a spider sense it'd be going nuts right about now. Now that brings me to my next train of though, hw can I get into that spiderman movie I hear they're making...

"I wouldn't expect you to." I said, "And we're not talking about turning your novels into a movie but us writing a different story all together.  I'm just saying, sometimes people get into a bad rutt doing the same thing. it happened to me, so I made a boxing movie.  Sure it wasn't a success, but it certainly helped clear my head out"

"Well I guess it's back to work."  The Man who was identified as Mr. Strub says picking up the paper bag of food.  He's asked if there's been any word yet and Mr. Strub shakes his head.  "None, I'll let you know if I hear anything, then again givne the size of the town you'll probably know it before I see you."

With that Mr. Strub will nod to the man behind the counter and walk towards the door.

"Thank you, Walter" Terri sat so that she could be turned towards wherever Walter decided to sit, and crossed her legs demurely, gaze turning back towards the older gentleman her companion had indicated. "No. Perhaps a relative?"

She wasn't ignoring Sawyer, but the peculiarities of the situation, especially as she'd just rented an apartment that was supposedly leased to a Mr. Strubb... well, it was a bit more to think about than a potential movie deal between two people she'd not seen in decades. "Do you think we should ask, just in case?" The query turned to Walter again, as she looked in his direction once more.

Walter sighed as Sawyer continued on, either he wasnt getting his message out right, or He wasnt listening.. Luckly, chance had given him a way out.. "Worth a try.. I'll be right back" He quickly moved over to the man called "Strub" before he gets away, "Excuse me.. Mr. Strub..? I've been trying to get in touch with you since You left me that note, but have been getting nothing but your voice mail.. Heck of a chance meeting you here for that interview" He smiles as if he had no idea this man wasnt Morris and offers his hand.

I nod as Walt leaves.  Sure I might seem a tad bit ont he persistant or dim side, but when I know something's going to be a success I have a bad tendoncy to grab it by the ears and yank till it gives.  Maybe Walt's heard the same pitch a thousand times, but it's me who's throwing and I like to give a few curves.  Even if the batter isn't there.

"So..." I say, looking into Terri's eyes, "how long are you on vacation"  I'm not going to kid myself.  Terri really filled out, and I'm jsut the type of good lookin guy to fall for a pair of beautiful eyes.

"I'm sorry I can't say we've ever met." He says in a slightly horse yet still pleasant voice, "Maybe we met when you've been here for vacation before, I'm Thomas Strub Director of the Silent Hill Historical Society."

He will put the bag under an arm and offer a hand, "Is there something i can do for you Mr...?"

Terri's eyes are hazel, in fact, and quite lovely. She turned her attention to Sawyer once Walter had made his way over to the older Mr. Strub. "Oh, a month maybe. Six weeks, tops. Why?"

Thomas offers a hand with a silver coloured ring, the ring has and odd symbol with two outer circles and three inner circle other then the man's wedding ring it's the only jewelery that the man is wearing.

Haloofthesun.jpg

"I'm sorry did you say you've heard from my son?  Shepperd's Orphanage correct?"  The man has a hopeful sound in his voice, he will continue, "I think Morris has mentioned you.  He read your books.  Well me what you heard from him do you know where he is?"

Mr. Strub says with concern looking Walter right in the eyes with the intense concern of a parent.

Terri smiled faintly and had a sip of her drink. "You're very direct about what you want, aren't you, Sawyer?" Still smiling, she tucked an errant lock of hair behind one ear. "How do you know I haven't ridden in one before?" Her tone of voice was light, and almost teasing.

Walter takes his hand with a small smile, shaking it firmly, "I must not be that big if the director of the historical society in the town i was born in hasnt heard of me" he smiles in a jovial way, pausing just a moment as the ring catch his eye, "Interisting right.."

He nods getting a straight face as he listens to Mr. Strub, "I received a letter from him when i checked into my hotel room, it was waiting for me on my mail boc with another package.." he reaches into his pocket pulling out the envelope offering it to him, "I keep it with my as house keepers arent to hesitant to swipe something like this if the person has a big name.. Other then this no contact though.." he pauses a moment.. "One of the girls from the orphanage is with me, She is moving into his apartment Maybe we could all go look and see if we can find something if it hasnt been checked..?"

"Why not?" I asked her, "I live inches from death on a daily basis, and when that happens, I can't live in fear." The smirk of a bad ace apeared on my face.  I was really out of my element here.  Not my usual Club Wolfe hang out in Hollywood.  I'm almost positive if this little angel saw me play piano she'd melt.

Ah, there's my door. That tone the signal to go on.  "Oh, I wouldn't doubt a pretty woman lke you has been in one, but you haven't been in one like mine.  There are only three like it." I smirk, "One of the original cars used in American Graffiti."

"Excuses me Ms.?  You knew my son and are presently staying in his apartment?"  He searches as if trying to figure out if she had introduced herself to him he will then look over the letter.

"I don't know it says Morris dropped this off when he knew you'd be in town meaning there's probably a similar letter at the other hotel in town encase you stayed there. He's been gone for two weeks, and this is a small town we don't tend to steal from one another most certainly not from one of the hotels, tourist industry is the life blood of this town."  He offers the letter back, "Can you come down to the Historical Society building when you are done eating and we can speak more there? It's right on Nathan and on the same side as Morris' apartment."

"They must really value your screen presence, to give away one of the official cars from the set. Or did you buy it outright?" Terri quirked a brow in curiousity at Sawyer, only to have her attention stolen away by the returning pair of gentlemen when Mr. Strub spoke up.

She offered him a hand to shake, politely. "It's Swaane. Teresa Swaane. And I only knew your son from the orphanage - haven't seen him since. The building manager cleared his place out except for a few odds and ends - I'm leasing it now, for the time being." Very polite and to the point.

Walter moves along after back to the group, "I have no problem coming by if it can help. I can also call some other hotels and ask if they do have a letter.. And how long ago they were dropped off as well. That could get something." He carefully sits back down taking a drink from his shake and eatting a bundle of fries.

"The building superintendent put them in storage, I believe. Some of his things are still there, though - a desk and some odds and ends, as I said." Terri glanced around at the other two men before she answered, "Yes, we were all children at the orphanage."

It was an odd coincidence, but these things happened sometimes, right?

Walter nods, "All of us were at the orphanage together. Was he working on any strange stories before he dissappeared..?" He takes a bite from his burger wiping the excess ketchup off his lips with a napkin then sucks at his shake.

Too many coincidences here. Morris missing, Walter talking about strange stories, Terri winding up where Morris lived, something in my burger just moved...

Who's pulling the strings? I decide to reply to Strub nodding in agreement with Walter, "Morris was there the first time I broke my arm. It was a... rather disturbing event. I still can't swim right."

Terri watched the hasty retreat with one brow raised slightly.

"Is it just me, or was that rather... odd? I really hope he doesn't think we had anything to do with Morris' disappearance." Either that, or maybe the father had done something to make Morris disappear... but no, that was simply ridiculous.

Terri glanced at her own food - nothing moving, but after all the excitement her appetite was not what it could have been.

Walter continues eatting already half way through his fries and burger as he watches Mr. Strub suddenly hurry off, "Now that wasnt suspicious at all.." he takes a sip of his shake as he pulls out a note pad, not Morris but his own, and quickly scrawls something down, its hard to understand what, his own personal shorthand, barely taking a minute to write two pages.

"So, Morris has been missing for about 2 weeks.. Apartments will evidently store your stuff if your gone that long.. Rather strange enless he has been gone longer then we have been told.. His Father who at first seems interisted on hearing whats going suddenly remembering he has to go talk to the police.. Luckly, i have a trained attack lawyer who can spray a multitude of combat viruses from his mouth with unerring accuracy.." He pauses looking up at the both of them, "Ignore the last part.. Wasnt actually suppose to get out." he smirks a little putting the notebook away.

I shook my head at Walter, "Cats out, though I was kind of thinking I'd ask my folks for a little advise as well." I poked my burger and it growled back (weather it was from a hallucination of lack of sleep, or god honest I'm not sure). "It's not that suprising a tenant would keep his stuff. They can't legally act on it until 30-90 days of it sitting and even then, they'd probably call Mr. Strub up to see about Morris' stuff."

"I do agree. hell of a time to forget a big important meeting with the sherriff. perhaps, like the transformers, there's more to this than meets the eye." I rub my chin to give the impression that I'm a deep thinker to impress Terri before I go on, "No.. on missing person cases a report is usually started within the first 73 hours of the disappearance. Someone had to have noticed, so the question is why is Strub waiting this long to talk to the sherriff?"

"Does seem a bit soon to be cutting the ties - one would assume he paid rent before he vanished, or his property would have been on the street, not storage." Terri stretched a bit in the chair, her expression only mildly troubled, thus far. "Hmm, everyone has lawyers these days - I doubt they'll be able to do much in this little town anyway." Still, Terri was starting to regret ever coming back; this was not the vacation she'd envisioned.

"If there's nothing in his notebook, maybe there's something left over back at my... well, his place, really. If the building manager is around, maybe I can talk him into getting us into the storage area - to put away some of the things left behind, of course." Not snooping. Terri would never snoop.

Unless of course there was information around that would get a nice investigation going - and then she could slip away to a more suitable vacation spot. Maybe somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle, at this rate.

Walter finishes off his food setting it off to the side pulling out Morris' notebook as he puts his own note pad away, same time pulling out his phone punching a few things in and slipping it back into his coat. "Bah. im a Celebrity. I hit send and a text goes to my editor, publisher, lawyer, and a couple newspaper people i know, and the paparazzi will be here so fast we will have tidal waves in at the Tajma hall... In theory at least."

He flips open Morris' notebook and begins reading through quickly committing to memory. "Damn.. This is giving me an idea for a story.. Does that mean im gonna have to split possible profits with Morris when we find him..?"

Entry Two

God back from the Public Records today, might have a talk with dad's friend Sheriff Moody, Looks like this happened around the time PTV was becoming a big important drug and a lot of tourist where getting addicted.

Could this be the result of something drug related? The Psychic Television does give you strange visions and hallucinations.

Also around the time when there where all those problems with the renovations at the Achemilla Hospital. Didn't Dr. Kaufmann who over saw those renovations go missing about 23 years ago?

Around the same time Dhlia Gillespie went missing? 23 years ago and her daughter went missing about 30 or 31 years ago. Alice I think her name was. I guess it's back to the achieves after work.

I shook my head at Terri, "Morris was a local boy. people love him jsut because he didn't move away like alot of us did. Heck, I don't think it'd be too much of a stretch to say his stuff could stay in that storage for a few more months without it really bothering the landlord."

I shake my head and laugh a little at Walter, "Yeah, way to go, step out of the celebrity stereotype and ask for press to behind you everytime you whipe your rich @** with a benjamin." I pause, "That last part is copyright Sawyer Glass."

I shake my head after hearing the entry, "No, I don't think you'd have to share, but I know paramount would wanna confferr with your lawyers." I take a drink of my soda. the cubes melted so now my cola now has that tap water twang to it (also copyrighted Sawyer Glass) . "To point out the obvious, there's something big is hiding here. My guess is 'ol Morris was thinking too narrow though. People don't go missing for drugs. this is something bigger." My eyes widened, "...possibly. we should head to the achieves to follow his bread trail."

By now, Terri had a little notebook of her own out, and a sparklie purple gel pen, which she used to take a few jumbled notes. (as seen here, if anyone's interested)

"Hmmm. No real way to know how people in this town felt about Morris - unless you've been keeping tabs on him, Sawyer?" She tapped the pen against her bottom lip, thoughtfully, before glancing towards Walter.

"Sugar, I'm sure if we find him, whatever Morris found can be his own book deal." She reclined in that ridiculous swivel chair, uncrossed, and then recrossed her legs. "Keep reading, please - no need running off until we at least know as much as Morris did before he disappeared."

Walter stops a moment to closes his eyes and assimilate it all, "You remember the time he tried to swing over the bar and broke his jaw..? I miss that... Its called being prepared Sanyer. If im suddenly arrested for no reason at all i dont want to mysteriously disappear without a trace. i want people to know." He Resumes reading..

**Entry Three**

Alessa, her name was Alessa. I can't recall much about the family, dad says that they where crazy lived in some old wood house on the edge of town that burned to the ground, Dalhia never spoke to people after it happened and then she was just gone.

The conclusion was that it wasn't particularly strange for someone no one every saw to just vanish, I find a hard time arguing with that.

Then there's Dr. Kaufmann believe me there where people willing to roll over on him like a well trained dog.

He would get trainie nurses drunk or high and sell sexual favors, or use black mail I talked to some of the employees at Brookhaven Hospital there wasn't exactly a good person taken from the community when he went missing.

Except now you need to go to Heaven's Night to get a hooker. If Silent Hill had Hookers, because officially it never has.

Tomorrow I am going to talk to Viv about it. Getting over to Brahms for a day trip will do me well.

((OOC: There was a girl named Viveca at the Orphanage.))

"Me? I haven't kept tabs on anybody since I went to Hollywood. fgured the best way to have a great life would be to let my past die out. Then the dreams start..." I pause, not realizing my inner monologue had spilled out in front of Terri and Walt.

I turned a little red, "funny thing is, I don't remeber the swinging accident. Just remeber getting an earful about it. oh, and that head gear." I shuttered at the memory. AS I hear the entry out I look at each of them, "Viv? you don't think he was talkinga bout Viveca do you?"
