I need all of the players to post the three worst events in their lives, well their character's lives, so please post them below I don't plan to tell you what I am doing with them but you will see.
I actually got them all figured out, more or less..
First, i figure something happened to walters parents as a kid, seeing his parents murdered. Was gonna leave this open to You Clara on what happened, if it was mundane means, or some creature got to them or something, but thats what happened that sent him to the orphanage, doesnt remember much of it as he is young, but its something that still slips into his nightmares on occasion.
Second. I actually got a little inspired by Misery more or less, At some point someone obsessed with him and his books tried to copy Misery on him. It didnt go quite as well as planned and walter got away, wither the guy who got him was caught or not, up to you again. He got out unscathed more or less, the guy broke one of his legs, which healed up fine, but he uses it as an excuse to carry about his cane which for all purposes is a large mean weighted billy club.
Third.. Decided on the simple route. Drug over dose mixing sleeping pills and alcohol. Not a suicide attempt, but just got hammered and out of habit took a couple pills. He was found, resuscitated, and all that. They kept him under observation thinking it was a suicide attempt during which over zealous shrinks tried to probe him to find out "whats wrong with him" in how he writes his books.
(simple answer, night terrors, Was suggested he write his dreams down, eventually while bored he began writing what happens between the dreams on his own leading up to the points, from there Publish!)

franks' grandfather dying - he was very old. frank had to walk/run to the next house about 3 miles away to get a phone - they didnt' have one. frank's wife being brutally murdered. you know that drill.
having a hard time with the last one. let me think on it.
one: Sawyer's last movie stunt involved a car crash over oil. He flipped the car 5 times out of his control. He walked away, but it was the first real time he had to challenge death without having a single ace in hand. Made him realize his mortality.
two: The constant pressures of having potential parents look at him and decide he wasn't good enough for their corner of the world.
three: At one time he had a potential bride, but she left him at the alter. He found out shortly afterwards that she'd been pregnant with his agent's (at the time) child.
1. Terri has had two late-term miscarriages - inexplicable both times. Her third husband divorced her over it, convinced she did it on purpose somehow.
2. During a brief stint as a burlesque dancer, one of the other girls tried to drown her in the giant champagne glass prop after rehearsals for 'stealing her man'. She went on to marry him out of spite. (Ex-husband number 1).
3. Terri was the last person to find out about her latest ex-husband's infidelity. Ex-husband 2 & 4 (same man) missed a key fundraiser for one of Terri's arts' charities and several of the ladies there took great delight in telling her exactly where to find him.

1) Being ripped away from his family-of-sorts at the orphanage when he was adopted.
2) As a new Marine in 1989, he was selected to take part in a classified mission in Central America. While there, he and the rest of his group walked into a trap set by local guerrillas. At one point, he was attacked and had to fire on the man at close range. It was the first time he ever killed.
3) For a number of years, he'd been involved romantically but covertly with another Marine of lower rank by the name of Carla Addams. She was deployed to Iraq during this most recent conflict and killed in action by a roadside IED. They had been making plans to get married and legitimize their relationship in the eyes of the military.
