Walter drives along slowly through the streets, he has remained fairly quiet, but a tense nervousness has been around him ever since the Happy burger..

Walter grips the steering wheel, keeping his eyes alert and on the road licking his lips lightly a moment.. "A guy.. Wearing a yellow surgeons jacket or something.. Was outside the shop. I could hear him saying "I'm Listen. I'm Always listening. I'm Listening." He stops at a stop sign or red light long enough to rub his eyes, sweat beading on his brow despite the air conditioner being on even a little shake can be seen in him.. He is trying to freak her out like he used to as a kid, he has gotten a helluva lot better since then about his acting..

Walter smirks lightly, "Unless Sawyer magically developed the ability to telepathicly broadcast his throats by slamming his head into things, i doubt that. You didnt hear it did you..?" He starts going again headed towards Terri's apartment, "Lets go get your things, anything else you want to do?"

Walter grins, "Who said I'm trying to get out of dinner, I've been making suggestions since Sawyer jumped in" he chuckles a bit, starting to relax some as he pulls up to the apartment and parking close by, getting out and opening the car door for her if she lets him, "And not prone to making things up?" he grins, "Remember the summer when i tried to convince all the other kids that the old apple tree was haunted from a bunch of people who hanged themselves in it, and if you looked closely you could see their face in the apple?"

The air is a little heavy by the time they get to the hotel, oddly enough for what ever reason a fog seems to have sprung up, it wasn't there before how it game in Transit is anyone's guess. When the two get out at the hotel they can hear the gentle sound of a music box playing from the open door of the Hotel.

"Or at least a flashlight or two..." Terri squinted at the door to the hotel. "Do they usually leave it all open like this? Seems like it would wreck havoc on the air conditioning..." The music was odd too, but one thing at a time.

"I can't say I'm thrilled about it either, sugar." Terri glanced around again, and let Walter lead - both surprised and relieved that the necessity of the cane was a ruse. "Doesn't seem like there's anyone else around, either."

Walter nods looking around, he grips the cane a bit tighter and moves over to the music box, looking for an off switch or something, "something is most deffinatly not right here.."

There are little figures that go into the music box and travel out, it's a very pretty antique with character's from fairy tales not the gaudy Disney versions but the ones that make you remember the characters came from the old country.

they slowly stop and the music comes to a halt as they do.

"Guess I'm just grasping at straws... no note at the front desk saying where everyone's gone off to, I suppose." She watched Walter crouch, and her eyes widened slightly upon seeing the gun.

Walter nods giving her the Cane. Rather a surprise when you get your hands on it as it is almost as heavy as an aluminum baseball bat, and is surprisingly sturdy. Walter takes a second to check the gun before putting it in his pocket holding it carefully, "Lets look around some But first sign of trouble we should get out of here, ok?" He starts making his way towards his room.

Terri took a moment to get used to the balance of the cane, listening to Walter as he spoke. "Alright. You lead and I'll make sure no one sneaks up on us."

Coming up the main stair case there is a hall way with three wooden doors, the hotel would be very nice if it wasn't so dark. there are a big pair of double doors in front of them. Walter's room should be to the left.

Walter smirks as he continues up the stair, but frowns a little at the dark, reaching into a pocket with his free hand pulling out his little LED light shining it down the hall watching the corners carefully.

"I'm pretty set against doing a movie.. A book is a book.. a movie is a movie, you try to make a book into a movie you loose everything in exchange for some mindless violence, sprays of blood, and occasional flash of knockers.. Besides, pretty much every movie company out there knows my conditions.. Total control, no crappy little half assed writers doing their "vision" of my books, And if they try to put in something i dont like, i can say no and can it right there if they dont want to drop it.. And if that happens im not covering any costs that have come up."

"The other problem is to do it properly the movie would be close to got knows how long" he grins wide, "Make the entire lord of the ring trilogy look like a 15 minute cartoon short.." He looks about before headed to his room, "Tell you what.. I do a book and i'll cut you in on what i make" he looks back to grin at her a moment.

"This is why you need your own production team, sugar - handle it all in-house," Terri teased a bit, though she continued to watch the stairwell behind them. She was still hoping for something nice and normal rather than a scenario that would give Walter his next best-seller.

The Door will creek but nothing more happens, it doesn't budge, there is an entrance that way through the elevator however.

The Hotel is silent after the attempts like an Alien Entity holding it's breath.

Walter nods and sighs, "Right.. Just rather avoid the elevator... But guess no other way without causing millions in damage with my Manly physique" he gives he a small grin and begins down the stairs again making his way towards the elevator.

"I'm thinking we probably won't like whatever's makin' that noise..." Terri had been somewhat cheerful by Walter's continual teasing. It was better than being alone. 

"Hello? Is someone out there?" A Women asks from the other side of the door and then there is a pounding like someone banging there fists against the door making the door shutter a little, "Let me out! Let Me out!" Her screams seem to echo in the all too quiet hallway.

Walter steps back from the door blinking as the screaming starts, moving forward taking the door knob in one hand and trying it, "Hey! Calm down, we'll get you out of there real quick, Whats your name??"

He tries to open it, if locked looking for the lock on his side, if not "Is the lock on your side?? If so unbolt it"

Terri looked up at Walter, "You want to try the cane, honey? Probably safer than trying to shoot the door handle - unless you know how to pick a lock."

The door is not a fire door, but neither is it made a dent, the door shutters a little, This door is not a reproduction, it's a 100 year old solid wood door making the chances of getting through it about as good as getting through concrete. This is not a modern plywood door.

Walter grunts as the club bounces off the door, hands tingling from the impact, "Ok.. They have really good doors here. Rosa, You still with us? Are there any other ways out aside from this one?" He looks about a moment, then gets a dumbstruck look then glances over at Teri, "Or.. I could have used my brain.. And gone down to the front desk and see if I could have found a Key.. You keep talking to her ok? I'll be right back." he offers her the Club back, and makes his way down to try and find the key.
