Her hair is brown and pulled back into a pony tale but her eyes are a rather stunning blue, she's pretty not some overly dolled up lead actress, but like good old fashioned above average looks lady in a relaxed environment.

She has on a white blouse and a brown vest that isn't done up when she stands up he can see she's wearing blue jeans with a black leather belt and black high heels.  "You must be Sawyer,  I must know you.  You look awfully familiar."  She says with a grin, "I'm Liz."

"Oh my God you where Ray in Lunatics a Love Story." She will kinda stare at Glass for a good long moment, "My Husband Jake is a Huge fan of your's."   She says almost under her breath.

There are no pictures of Jake on her desk just a stuffed Wolf and a picture of two girls one tween and one still not nearing teenhood yet.

"My husband had our copy converted to DVD about a year ago I said he was a big fan."   She says with a smirk and crosses her arms, "Didn't know you where a local boy.  Jake's going to fin that interesting,  he's a tour guide you want to know about the history of Silent Hill he knows it."

She smiles as he indicates the picture, "Yet, I call them the Princesses they could be more demanding if they where royalty,  I, mean that in the most affectionate way of course."

"Well we try," She says with a slight smirk.  "I'm not too sure what they where working on Jake has extensive knowledge of the town's history and customs. He's a huge history buff... well when it comes to Silent Hill."

She paint her husband as a very intelligent possibly nerdy type of guy, he watches obscure videos and studies history,  Glass is very quickly getting the image of a guy with glasses and a pocket protector.

So when Mr. Hanford enters it's a little shocking,  "Sawyer Glass,  Liz this is so cool why didn't you tell me he was coming into the paper?  You are Sawyer Glass right?"



Jake Hanford is a big man,  he looks like he should be playing football not wearing a powder blue jacket over a white dress shirt with "Silent Hill Tours."  Embroidered on the front. 

He's blonde haired and blue eyed and seems every bit the type of guy who wouldn't get into college if not for a sports scholarship.  He is also a head taller then Sawyer and depending upon who you ask better looking.

"I love that movie it might have had a limited budget however it had marvelous character development and proved that some times a big budge merely distracts from some of the most important aspects of cinematic storytelling."  Jake shakes Sawyer's hand firmly however not to the point of discomfort.

"Mind if I ask what you are working on now and what bring you to our humble town,  We where going to be going to Streak and Brew  Burger if you'd like to join us."



"Jake he says he's a friend of Morris, he's looking into his disappearance."  Liz says going over and putting a hand on her husband's arm biting her lip a little.

"Are you going for serious or campy?"  Jake will ask and then look over at his wife, "Oh right Morris,  well he was talking to me a lot about my Haunted Hill tours.   I do them in October take people around all the famous haunted sites,  you'd be shocked how many people are actually interested in old ghost stories."

Jake will chuckle a little but slip an arm around his wife. "You okay honey?"



"I just remember telling him I'd see him tomorrow and then it was like he vanished."  Liz says and shake her head, "I know you like the whole spooky stuff baby but it freaks me out a little right now."

"Well Liz ya wanna meet me at the restaurant? I'm kinda curious what Morris said about me now,  hope it's all good.   I think this is a little much for Liz right now."  Jake says and looks over at his wife.



"Yeah you know I can take what ever,  but getting food does sound good you guys try not to take took much advantage of my office."  Liz says before kissing Jake on the lips and going to retrieve her purse.

"Not surprised he didn't mention me I mean we got along fine but I wouldn't hang out with him so much if he wasn't friends with Liz."  Jake will admit and look thoughtful.  "So how can I help?"

"Yeah It seemed a little weird to me he wanted to know about anything weird,  if you look hard enough their's weird stuff all over, people just love to focus on the Hill because of it's history."  Jake says thoughtfully,  "Where you aware Silent Hill had it's own Voodoo priest in the 1800s?"

"There happens to be a fairly large Haitian Community in Boston and a lot of immigrants from Jamaica in Newfoundland.  neither one you would consider to be the Voodoo capital of North America."  Jake looks thoughtful.  "I'm comfortable saying i really don't know,  it would be logical to say one of the staff members did it.  They all claim they didn't hear anything.  Do we have 100% proof that one of the staff members didn't convince the kids to go with them get killed and then placed back in their beds?   Who else could do it without making a sound?"

"You're putting normal logic into murders, murders generally don't have a reason.  Psychotic breaks and all those lovely things, and if not one of the kids woke up and made a fuss, not one of them saw a guy looming over another kid's bed?  Maybe I could believe it from a single family house hold but not an orphanage with all the beds close together."

Jake shrugs, "In the end we don't know just thankful that it never happened again."

"I'm pretty shocked you guys didn't come back sooner then again I love the Hill Nice neighborly people city keeps the parks clean, new restaurants with interesting concepts popping up all the time."   He thinks a little, "Morris going missing is pretty weird, I'm not sure what got him maybe his ex wife's lover got him for insurance money.  Drown him in the lake."

"As for you all meeting in the same restaurant i bet it was one you went to when you where in the Orphanage, probably one you got to go to as a treat, I would say it's the power of nostalgia." 

Happy Burger has indeed been around for awhile.  Silent Hill also has the King of all Happy Burgers in it.

"Math wasn't my strong suit, yeah it does seem like a pretty big in-provability that you would all show up there, but if you're looking for an answer other then the mundane I can't help you too much.  I know Morris was interested in Wish House and the old Hanford place.   Yes my family but no one has lived there in years."   Jake says with a slight shrug.

"Oh Wish House was this other Orphanage, a sensationalist reporter was talking about how the Order was behind it and doing weird ritualistic things to kids brain washing them.   It's on my Haunted Hill tour but it burned down."

"Some crazy guy that was hanging around got into it and set himself and the place on fire,  place had been closed for a couple of years following the sensationalism.    the Order that's a bit of a funny story you see the first town built on this spot vanished.   Well all the people did without a trace."

Jake looks at Sawyer a little seriously, "every man women child every animal.  when a second group of colonists arrived the Native in the area offer to teach them thing to protect themselves.  Soon everyone in town practiced a hybrid of the native customs and Christianity."

"Well we're not even t the Order yet, you see the religion kinda settled Silent Hill was pretty isolated from the rest of the country, so after about a generation you had a colony with a very different religious mind set then the rest of the well white country."  Jake says before continuing, "Jennifer Carroll,   a local girl met with some outsiders and after speaking to her they decided she was a terrible Blasphemer.   I don't know how the exchange went what I do know is that it ended with Jennifer being beaten to death and thrown into the lake.    You see she refused to give up her religion."

Jake pauses for a moment.  "So after her death they put a statue of her where she died which is now called Rose Water Park,  you see here blood turned the water pink legend says for days.  I don't think it was that long,  and the Order was founded,  a secret society that everyone belonged to.   Basically everyone who followed the religion was inducted into the Order, and everyone in the town was a part of the religion it help keep it a secret from outsiders."

"Now do I think the Order has the right idea?  Maybe I'm not so sure, they where founded to protect the town and it's people mainly from religious prosecution, now a days mainly some old guys who get together smoke cigars and drink. Which doesn;t honestly sound none too bad to me if the Misses would let me smoke."

"Only information you'll get that's not rumors or events that you need to figure the information out for yourself is by joining,  I got a lot of my information from the Historical Society, they document a lot of the events that have taken place in town and you can kinda figure out things by reading between the lines.  anything else I can help you out with?"

"You need a sponsor and a teacher, it generally means you do need to do some snooping.  Did you want to hit up steak and brew burger with me and Liz?"  Jake asks looking a little on the concerned side.

"I would think you'd need to be in town longer then a day, hey you could always get a cabin in the woods there are some for sale right now,  why don't you come to Steak and Brew Burger, I promise you, you'll be hooked."  Jake says with a winning smile.

Stake and Brew Burger is a place that brews it's own beer, the gimmick is that you can order a steak burger, meat made like a Salisbury Steak, marinaded in different beers and then served on a thick bun after being cooked on real coals.

They also have bear battered everything, several import beers and the house brew.

the place is rich heavy wood.

"They do but I like to hit the house draft, you should at least try it once."  He says and points at the import board.  "Hey there's my lovely lady over there, let's go and sit with her."  He will make his way over towards Liz.

"Hey guys how goes the Male Bonding going?"  Liz asks waving to the two of them as they approach the table.   There are two menus sitting on the table.   She will get up to go over to her husband and give him a quick kiss on the lips.

"You know who knows all about local history?  Not the silly Occult rumor stuff but actual researched history? Thomas Strub.  That man knows town history like no one's business."  Liz says with a little bit of a chuckle.   She does frown a little.  "I just don't know why that would help you figure out what happened to Morris."



"It's Not silly it's Sensational and people love it.  I am doing my job to keep us with a steady supply of tourists, It's good for the town."   Jake sat down, "Also why I still run every morning and go to the Gym once a week."



"I know you suffer for the town Jake."  Liz rolls her eyes and punches her husband in the shoulder.  However she's wearing a smile.

Jake keeping in shape to keep tourists coming back does make a certain amount of sense.  If a tour-guide is cute then you can be damn sure he'll be talked about later.   The couple seems pretty close for a wife that doesn't keep a picture of her husband on her desk.

Oddly enough they don't seem to be acting out of character as a couple, there doesn't seem anything wrong or up, maybe there a little bit less formal then a Hollywood couple, not cat and mouse just the two of them.

"I don't know if it had anything to do with what the Big Bad Wolf here was talking to him about." Liz will say and shake her head, "Then again over the years there have been some weird stories, people have disappeared..." Liz admits in an uneasy fashion.
